Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded to the top performing teams:

1st Place: $2000

NEW for 2010 - The winning entry will be acquired by the Canada Science and Technology Museum for the national collection in Ottawa. The museum will award passes to the winning team as well as arrange for a tour of their facilities in Ottawa.

2nd Place: $1000

3rd Place: $500

The teacher advisor will receive the prize money and will be responsible for distributing/using it however he/she feels is appropriate.

Additional prizes will be awarded to individuals and teams on the day of the event. Some categories will include:

- Toyota Commuter Challenge

- Kid Wind's Best Performing Rookie Team ("Rookie" = a team from a school that has never previously entered WindENG)

- Henry's Best Videos

- School of Engineering's random draws

- School of Engineering's Best Spirit

- Wind Simplicity's Design Innovation
